My Mumbai and Water

Once upon a time in Mumbai there was water.We had enough to drink,bathe,wash,cook,clean etc etc.It was easy to get,easily available hence it was taken for granted.Then began wastage.First less then more.Then came the population,wastage grew day by day.Then decreased the supply.Mumbai felt something was going wrong, but continued to ignore.Wastage continued,supply to some homes decreased.Mumbai said "it is only 'some' homes ,we have enough for the rest". More people came into Mumbai,More homes were built.Mumbai said"Now we await the Monsoons".The wait continued.The season changed, Monsoon came and went.The crisis remained unresolved.Yes now it became a crisis. From a small problem for 'some' homes to a crisis.An alarm was set off.Mumbai remained hopeful and awaited the monsoons yet again.The Monsoon never came.There was no water.

and the solution....

There was no solution.......

It was too late for Mumbai then...

But is it too late Now????

"Rain Rain go away come again another day...little johnny wants to play"

I am sure little johnny would never want the rain to go away.

Lets save the rain,Lets save the water

Let us act upon it....Let us save My Mumbai,
